Homework to be Handed In

Here will be found homework assignments that are to handed in. The first one is due

Monday, April 19 --no later than the end of the class period

Work through the Maple worksheet. If you have Netscape configured to start Maple, you will be on your way. Otherwise, you can simply download the worksheet and start Maple yourself. The assigned problems are at the end of this worksheet. Please hand in a printed copy of your work, and make sure your name and your Section are on your paper. Do not wait to get started--I shall post the solution on the due date, and so I cannot accept any papers late. Thanks and good luck!

If you are new to Maple, you might want to look at some more elementary examples and exercises prior to tackling this homework. You can find some easy ones for beginners here. The School of Mathematics also provides links to some good information about using Maple.

You can see my solution for this first assignment.
