Textbook: The textbook for the course is a set of notes written by Professor Herod and myself and is available electronically. This course begins with Chapter Twelve. You will find the notes here.

Quizzes: There will be five thirty minute quizzes. These will be each Tuesday, beginning Tuesday, June 29. The quiz days are thus: June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27. The final examination is scheduled by the Office of the Registrar.

You will be allowed to use any books, notes, tables, or calculators you wish on the quizzes and the final examination.

Homework: You can find the homework assignments here. These are not to be handed in, but it is most important that you have a go at them--they will form the basis of the recitation discussions.

Grades: Your course grade will be determined from the following information:
