(John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 1997). A nice reference available on-line

- Quizzes: There will be one short (ten-fifteen
minute) quiz each Friday of the semester, and there will, of course, be
a final examination. The final examination is scheduled by the Office of
the Registrar. There are to be no other quizzes or tests.
You will be allowed to use any books, notes, tables, or calculators
you wish on the quizzes and the final examination.
- Homework: You can find the homework assignments here.
These are not to be handed in, but it is most important that you have a
go at them. They will form the basis of much of the class discussion and
some of the problems might even appear on the quizzes. There will be special
homework to be handed in almost every Monday.
