Complex Analysis

Textbook:   Recommended references are Complex Variables and Applications(6th edition) , by James Brown and Ruel Churchill; and Fundamentals of Complex Analysis for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering(2nd edition), by E. B. Saff and A. D. Snider. There is no required textbook to buy--we shall use these fine notes.

Quizzes:   There will be two quizzes and a final examination. The quizzes will be Friday, January 29 and Friday, February 26 .

You will be allowed to use any books, notes, tables, calculators, or whatever, you wish on the quizzes and the final examination.

Grade:   Your final course grade will be determined from the following data:

Homework:   There will be homework assigned almost everyday. Most of this is not to be handed in, but it is important that you have a go at it, as it will usually form the basis for much of the class discussion. There will be, in addition, some homework assigned to be handed in--you will receive ample notice of these.

Quiz Solutions: My solution for the first quiz is ready. My solution for the second quiz is also ready, and here are the answers to the extra credit questions.
